Dragon Quest V role-playing PS2 game was developed by the Chunsoft and released by Enix Corporation. Dragon Quest 5 game published in September 1992. It is the fifth main installment of the series Dragon Quest video game. The remake of the game is published in February 2009, in North America.

Game Description & Reviews: Overview Dragon Quest V is a turn-based RPG released in 1992 and is the fifth installment in the popular Dragon Quest series. DQ8 has two versions, the PS2 version and the 3DS version. The 3DS version has more content and they got rid of random encounters, but the audio is very compressed, they replaced a voice actor with an arguably duller one. Meanwhile, the PS2 version looks better and has a fully orchestrated soundtrack(not in Japan). I was looking for a ps2 JRPG that i never played so i could give a try, and i remembered this one, Its weird to say a dragon quest game is a hidden gem on the PS2, but i think this one quite deserves the title (at least in the west), if you ask most people about great PS2 JRPGs, almost no one.
